GEORGES BERTELLOTTI GOLDEN PODIUM AWARDS
Over the last 22 years, the Golden Podium Awards, created by Georges Bertellotti, have rewarded the directors of the worlds best sports TV images.
Slow-motion sequences are at the heart of the contest featuring 6 categories:
- Best Slow Motion Sequence Cut/Edited Shots
- Best Slow Motion Sequence Isolated Camera Shot
- Best Sports Trailer/Teaser or Program Opening Montage
- International Olympic Committee Grand Prize
- Best Sports-Related Advertising Film, in collaboration with CB News
- Prize for the Best Sound Design
Each winner is awarded a Golden Podium trophy, a sculpture designed by renowned artist Raymond Moretti.
In 2011, the best sequences were screened during the awards ceremony, presided by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco on Tuesday, October 11.
